MR3020 Flash failed windows 7 **solved**

Post by Stu2 »

Hi Folks i am new to this forum and need some technical help from someone who has had good success with this devise.
I was able to log in to the admin page ok but when i flashed it Meteobridge upgrade i think it failed now i can not get into the admin page.
Is there a way to do a full reset other than the reset button on the top.
Otherwise it will probably end up in the bin and have to purchase another one.
TP Link probably like customers like me
Regards

The documentation at http://meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Getting_Started says: admin page => start flash and then:
Wait until unit restarts. After that it will be a Meteobridge client in standard configuration receiving an IP via DHCP from your router in the LAN.
If the flash went OK it is a meteobridge now. And you will never need to go to the admin page, as that page does not exist anymore.

Check to find your Meteobridge, look at the same documentation page almost at the end of the page: Lazy Way

When you have the IP address you can login to your Meteobridge.

Hi Wim, sorry i have not got back to you sooner i had another play with it and again and got no access to it either via the TP Link admin page or the Meteobridge page.
The unit powers up with a green power light but thats all i get.
Can you advise how long it takes for the flash process to take place.
Back to the drawing board and possibly purchase a second unit at least they are not expensive.

Hi Folks, i have purchased a second MR3020 and this time i have been able to flash the unit correctly however i still have a problem where i can not gain access to either the TP link admin page or the Meteo brige admin page on this unit i can see that the large reset button is flashing and when i cycle the power all the leds flash on and the off and leaving the large led to flash.
Can somer point me in the right direct as i am getting frustrated with trying to get at least one unit to work.
