Update to Meteohub V5.0c (NSLU2, x86, SheevaPlug, RPI) brings these features:
updates bash on x86, Shevaplug and ARM-alikes, RPI to make it "shell shock" proof.
adds support for Ambient Weather Observer WS-1000 aka FineOffset HP-100x which don't have USB or serial computer connection. Data from outdoor sensor unit (WH24) of this station can now be read out via Meteostick (needs most recent Meteostick firmware 2.1b1 or newer). Indoor sensors (WH25) are not evaluated, pressure is provided by Meteostick hardware. US and EU models are supported. Outdoor sensor unit is solar powered and provides: Wind, Rain, Temp, Humidity, Solar Radiation, UV Index

it is controlled via crontab. Are you sure it is not some kind of a problem on the FTP server side?
With RPI there is a problem on stacking up processes as the RPI is to slow to handle some
computations in expected time. May be you are also impected by that. Are you using a RPI?
