I've recently installed a new Davis vantage Pro 2 and am using Meteobridge to connect it to WeatherUnderground, CWOP, and MeteoPlug. All is working fine. However, I'd also like to connect to local software on my Mac, specifically WeatherCat, which I used with my prior station. Weather cat allows me to have live gauges on my Mac desktop which I cannot do through MeteoPlug. It also allows me to easily keep a local back up of my data.
Is there any way for Meteobridge to pass on the Vantage Pro data across my local network to Weathercat? ideally emulating the data seen from a Vantage IP adaptor?
Many thanks.

Re: Pass data on to other software?
Meteobridge does not emulate the Vantage protocol to feed other programs.
Data can be stored into a mySQL database or sent to t server in your LAN via HTTP,
where other programs might be able to grab data from. But this will need some
individual programming, nothing out of the box.

Re: Pass data on to other software?
OK, thanks. I'm currently grabbing my own data back from WeatherUnderground and feeding it into WeatherCat through some custom PHP. I was just hoping I could avoid that step.
Re: Pass data on to other software?
Version 2.5 of Meteobridge does allow Vantage data pass-through on port 22222.
