open named pipe "/dev/meteobridge" failed: No such device or

Post by Ed_Heaton »

I just recently started getting this message:
logger (11.02.2015 00:53:39): open named pipe "/dev/meteobridge" failed: No such device or address
logger (11.02.2015 01:11:47): open named pipe "/dev/meteobridge" failed: No such device or address
logger (11.02.2015 16:58:31): open named pipe "/dev/meteobridge" failed: No such device or address
logger (12.02.2015 04:41:43): open named pipe "/dev/meteobridge" failed: No such device or address

Any suggestions to a fix?
I'm running a Davis VP2 Wireless system with the Meteobridge TP-LINK MR3020

It repairs automatically. I don't fully understand when this pipe goes down, but it is not an issue.

I started getting these same errors. I have a wirelesss Vantage Vue and the MR-3020. Understand they are self correcting. Just adding additional data in terms of station type.

Cheers!

Thanks... I never had it before so I was wondering what caused it...

I have also started getting these errors.
This is not limited to the Davis equipment. I run an Acurite 5in1 sensor, 3in1 sensor and a tower sensor, sending data via a bridge connected to a DLink 505.
They don't seem to affect the data stream. However I have only looked at the data through WU and they list their data in the table every 5 min. There do not appear to be any gaps. I have looked into this to see if it is related to some other gaps in my uploaded data and they do not seem to correlate to any.

Thought I would add some additional observations, across different equip platforms.
