DIR-505L Ethernet Port Question

Post by crazyace »

I am using the DIR-505L with an Acurite 1036RX PC Connect USB display. The display is connected via USB to the DIR-505L and working fine. Can I still use the Ethernet port to connect and relay something else just to pass Ethernet data back to my router? I also have an Acurite internet Bridge and was thinking to connect it just to pass the data to my wireless router.

Any info as to if it would cause any issues to use both the USB and ethernet port as described in my previous post?

When you select "LAN bridge" mode and the Meteobridge is on WiFi, than anything connected to the Ethernet port of the Meteobridge should act as if connected to your router via Ethernet directly.

Ok, great! Sounds like I can connect both USB and Ethernet weather stations and use the Meteobridge software to select which station that I want to use with Meteobridge. Also, if I am using the USB weather station the Ethernet bridge it can still report as if it was just connected to my router.
