Meteobrige with WS1400IP WIND Direction error **solved**

Post by stormhunter7 »

I am pushing data to CWOP and it appears the wind data is stuck on 02 or 03 degrees.. has not changed with the correct wind, should be SSW. The station is pushing to wunderground fine through Ambient Observer-IP device. Is there something i need to do to get the wind data to correct?

Wu and "live data" tab do show wind direction fine? Just cwop having the issue?

it appears to be a bug, because when you look at the live data.. it shows either 02 0r 03 direction for wind. So when it pushes data out to any services, then it will be wrong. i have meterostick USB as backup that connects over the 915 mhz and it works and post right data. So the connection over the network using the WS1400IP Observer, all data appears fine except for the wind direction. It only has 02 or 03 degrees. Any suggestions?

Version 2.5
released February 26, 2015
fixes a bug that prevents from selecting found WLIP IPs via drop-down.
makes http upload timeouts a bit less strict
fixes a bug that breaks Vantage WLIP pass-through some times.

Does this update have the fix for Wind Direction?
