WSWIN: no import.csv ** solved **

Post by julsing »

The original thread went a bit astray, so once again:
Meteohub is not generating the 'import.csv' file.
I defined all sensors, I ticked the 'Generate WSWIN Data ongoing' box, I did a 'save' and a 'sync reset', I rebuilt the aggregated weather data, I waited for two hours, but I am still missing the 'import.csv' file in the export subdirectory.
The file 'exp01_00.csv' is present in the subdirectory and can be manually imported in WSWIN.

In the meantime I've done a dozen saves, rebuilds and syncs, no import.csv appears.

What's wrong and what can I do?
Thanks,

Frank

But, isn´t it that the import.csv isn´t always there. Isn´t it being created and deleted, created and deleted and so on?

I remember I had the same trouble when starting to export data from meteohub to wswin.
Opening the file export function, there was no import.csv.
But using re-synch and waiting about one minute you should be able to see the file.
Have you mapped the export folder to your PC and checked its content?

Did you do that sequence?

If I was going to to a recompute, I'd let that finish before saving the "generate on going", and then wait till EXP01_00.csv was fully built before clicking "sync reset".

I've done all that loads of times.

Do you get the .wswin control file appearing? That gives the start and end date/time for the most recently generated import.csv (which as wfpost mentions will have been deleted if WSWIN has already read it).

What settings do you have in WSWIN? Are you using File => Options => Warning/Pause => Pause?
I have that set to 10 minutes.

BTW: What´s the start time for wswin in your case, sevenless?

With me it´s always a factor of 7, like 17:07, 17:14 and so on. (settings for 10 minutes interval)

I´d like to have 17:00, 17:10, etc., but no chance to get rid of the seven as magical the SEVEN may be ;)

Cheers,

David, where do I find the .wswin control file?

Thanks,

If it exists it will be in the same place as exp01_00.csv, i.e. the Meteohub export folder.

Not sevenless, but 'me too' on the 7 minute thing - currently WSWIN has data to 17:37.

It would be really nice if the import.csv cycle could be speeded up a bit. With 10 minute import.csv generation WSWIN is rarely less than 15 minutes 'behind', usually longer.

I downloaded the 2.6-4gb rar file again and installed it on the USB stick.

Et voilà: all is working as it should!

Thanks for all the input.
