Hi,
I did just try to setup my new Raspberry Pi 2, and followed the instructions on http://wiki.meteohub.de/Setup_RPI
When i powered on the Raspberry the green light flashes a few times but then it doesnt blink nor is constantly on.
The red LED is on.
Any suggestions how to get this running?
Mathias
I waited for about 20 minutes but no green LED.
I am using a Transcend 16GB micro SD

Re: Rasperry Pi 2 setup
Put the image once again on the sd card.
Then tried again according to the setup guide.
Now it looks like it will be working.
Currently the restore of the old data is running.

Re: Rasperry Pi 2 setup
Raspberry is now working and sending correct data to my webspace.
Still have the problem that I cant reach the web interface.
Ipscan shows a IP address for the raspberry
Ping works with this address.
But when I enter this address in my web browser it doesnt get connection to the web interface.

Please don't take this as an insult, but went through something similar - thought I knew the IP address and it ended up being somebodies cell phone. My web interface didn't acknowledge because what I thought was a live cable wasn't... felt incredibly stupid.
If you happen to have an HDMI capable monitor or TV, try plugging the PI into that and watching it boot. No need for the weather station hookup, you just are looking for the DHCP response that is echoed to the console. I actually went out and bought a cheap 24" screen at Costco, just to discover the cable problem. Useful life: about 5 minutes. Fortunately I have a kid about to go off to college, and it will make a great TV for her.

Actually I thought about buying a cheap monitor as well but everything I found was too expensive for me as useful life would have been 5 minutes, as you said.goombah wrote:Please don't take this as an insult, but went through something similar - thought I knew the IP address and it ended up being somebodies cell phone. Fortunately there was this thread (viewtopic.php?f=60&t=10297) with the solution to my problem.
Thanks for your answer.
