As of today a 4 week testing period started to test the Leuven-Template for use with Meteoplug.
All weatherdata is read from the Meteoplug server using the template feature. Although there are still some missing weather-tags (the Davis forecast text is one) 99.999% is OK.
Now I need some experienced Meteoplug users to check and beta test this version so that they and future Meteoplug-only users can use the Leuven-Template also.
The English WiKi has the specific Meteoplug information (only 1 extra page was needed)
and that WiKi is at: http://leuven-template.eu/dokuwiki27/do ... d=en:start
The Meteoplug version of the template can be found at: http://weather-template.nl/weather27x/index.php?p=10, it is fully operational, no fake data.
This link is for the European region. Changing one setting only, the same template becomes tailored to the USA or Canada or to the "others" region.
As the specific differences for Meteoplug are small you should check the other versions athttp://weather-template.nl/weather27/?lang=en were you can use the (i) at the top to switch regions and weather-programs. Also no fake data there, all data is loaded frequently but less frequently then in a normal situation as data for the 11 supported weather-programs has to be uploaded to that one site.
Wishes / extensions for the Meteoplug version:
How to get the real-time data, I know it is possible as the Meteoplug dashboard also gets its data very frequently (less then 20 seconds?)
How to get graphs for the pop-ups in the Steelseries
or
How to get clientraw (all 4?) files (once per 10 minutes would be OK) to use for those graphs as I already use them for the Meteohub users.
I assume all Meteoplug/Meteohub users know that for their weather-program the Leuven-Template is already available. This post is for Meteoplug-"only" users.

Re: Meteoplug-only users can now install the Leuven-Template
I am interested in this. I like the idea of using the data from the meteoplug server. I upload data fairly frequently to that using my meteohub.
Already make use of the meteohub plugin for your template but I am looking at making more use of the meteoplug service I subscribe too, I update to that every 10 seconds. ( which I believe is the most frequent you can select)

As explained in my previous post, for the Leuven-Template there are no differences between the 3 meteo** versions other then the different facilities of the Weather-Programs themselves. And one can mix and match.stuartturrell wrote:I am interested in this. I like the idea of using the data from the meteoplug server. I upload data fairly frequently to that using my meteohub.

This user has a Meteobridge and a paid account for Meteoplug. Although most of the weather-data on her site is populated by Meteobridge, she also uses
the 'all-in-one' graph: http://www.weerstation-herent.be/weathe ... MB&lang=en
and the WD-live / Meteoplug version: http://www.weerstation-herent.be/weathe ... MB&lang=en
Other users have the Meteoplug dashboard on their startpage as that one is also a standard part of the start-page. As is WD-live for meteoplug also.
So no need for a current Meteobridge or Meteohub user to switch, all Meteoplug facilities can be used on any Leuven-Template implementation.
