Can not Update my Software

Hallo,
i have installted the software version Version 2.4b.
when i want update to a newer version it dosen`t go.

i made it with the software update (web) and software updte (file).

what make i wrong.

what version did you try? 2.7 ?
what error message?
what browser do you use?

as far as I know, all versions below 2.6 must first be updated to 2.6. After that, update to versions post 2.6 are applicable.

that's correct: I had 2.5c and first updated to 2.6 and then to 2.7 - worked without any problems via the web interface.
