pure temp sensor can´t be selected as soil sensor for awekas

Post by wfpost »

Hi Boris,

just updated my meteohub to MeteoHub: 5.0i (Build 7248) trying to select my soil sensor in weather networks and make it visible in awekas.
There seems to be a minor bug, if this sensor is a pure Temp sensor as mine:
I have an OREGON SCIENTIFIC THC138/BLRW SENSOR connected via an RFXCOM named t0.
(( in the sensor list this device shows up as THWR288 ))
That is a pure Thermo sensor (makes sense: I only want to get soil temp!)

I tried to select this sensor at the given menu in weather networks.
But exactly that sensor does not show up there :(
Please see my screenshots:
Anything you can do about it?? Thanks!!!

Soil sensors are only supported with Davis stations. You can't define
any of your temp sensors to be handled as a soil sensor by WU.

Not WU, but awekas is my case!
I selected the temp/hum oregon sensor in my basement and that sensor shows now up at awekas as soil sensor.
I'm still thinking that t0 is a pure temp sernsors is the reason it cannot be selected.
Because why can the temp/hum sensor be selected?

... created a virtual sensor th10 based on t0.
That sensor can be selected with weather networls as soil sensor.
So, there seems to be a minor bug not allowing pure temp sensors from using with weather networks.
