AcuRite Bridge will no longer connect Meteobridge **solved**

Post by nerwin »

Today I decided to move my AcuRite bridge to increase the signal strength to my 5 in 1. All was working perfectly fine before and now, for the life of me, I CANNOT get the AcuRite bridge recognized by Meteobridge. It is driving me crazy!

I'm using a TP-LINK TL-MR3020 and the ram hasn't maxed out yet..been around 80-84%. I've been using it for a month or two now at least constantly updating to wunderground without problems..until I moved it today. Nothing has changed..just longer ethernet cable and different outlet for the AcuRite bridge.

I know there was a bad code sent out, I already tried the USB thing with the rescue file and it didn't help at all. Still a red X next to the bridge. No matter what I do, red X. Also did it via SSH and still no luck. Nothing has changed..red X. For the life of me, I cannot get the Acurite Aculink Bridge working with Meteobridge anymore. I tried reverting back to older firmware version, still same symptoms.

I can access AcuLink bridge's web GUI that is connected via the LAN port on the Meteobridge. So I know its working..but Meteobridge is just not reading it.

Meteobridge 2.5 (Jul 26 2015, build 6777), FW 1.4 - is this good or bad?

These are the logs:

Code: Select all

I don't know what to do!!! I tried everything..restarted a 100 times..it just doesn't work. Is this a lost cause? Someone please help! I've already been dropped from wunderground...

Someone please help!!

I am having the same Issue as Nerwin and it started at about the same time. I can grant you access as well if you have time to look into mine to see what the issue is. I can view my AcuLink via the IP and it appears normal, but for some reason will not connect to the Meteobridge as of yesterday. I'll send the info to the address you had posted above.

Problem has been analyzed and solved. Please...
1) reboot the Meteobridge,
2) press "save and apply and reboot" on network tab and
2) when system comes up again operation in bridge mode should be fine.

for the network interested... Looks like I was a bit too restrictive in using network bridges in previous update. Meteobridge needed some reduction in that aspect as it could otherwise produce network loops when a Meteobridge is connecting by WLAN and is also still connected by Ethernet cable. Now bridge parameter on network setting is setting accordingly to what you specify on network tab.
