Extreme wind values.....filter?

Post by wsnoordbergum »

Hi there.

My weatherstation is occasionally reporting extreme windvalues.
This is because I sometimes have receiving errors in windspeed, as seen as checksum error in the log.
Is there a way to filter out these extreme values in meteobridge?
Now I'm having wrong max data for wind also on WU as on my own website.
So is it possible to filter at a specific treshold say 30 m/s?
Example: windspeed is suddenly exceeding 30 m/s, then I would like to filter this out as a ---
My log says it is out of range later it seems to correct itself and everything is fine.

I only have this erronous data in version 2.5, in version 2.2 I had no bad windspeed reports on my site as well on WU.

Seems to go hand in hand with your general connectivity issues of the WMR200.
There are filters, but they jump in on far higher values as 30 m/s is a possible wind speeed.

Hi.

I've had no problems with unlikely wind values anymore.
After a few hickups 2.5 is now running smoothly the last version is good.
I have made a alarm event in case my winddata goes beyond 30 m/s.
30m/s is unlikely to occur in my area.
So I'm notified by e-mail if the wind value is above 30m/s.

Thanks for the reply.
