Hi,
I just received the new MB Pro and have it reading data from a Davis Vantage Vue ISS via the internal receiver.
When I have it upload data to my weatherunderground site, the data is saying -999 for rain total and -- for rain rate, instead of 0.0 as expected without any rain.
Weather data can be viewed here: http://www.wunderground.com/personal-we ... =KCABELMO5
I just transferred to the Davis station yesterday so I only have less than 24 hours of data with it. Previous station reported rain as expected.
Any suggestions of how to fix this?
Thanks

Re: MB Pro not reporting rain data to Weatherunderground
I've moved the MB PRO to this new station until the problem is resolved.
http://www.wunderground.com/personal-we ... 35#history
I have placed the data out of my Davis console with Serial connection to VWS software back to the original page:
http://www.wunderground.com/personal-we ... =KCABELMO5
If you look at both pages, they each get their data from the same Vantage Vue ISS, but the MB Pro won't report precipitation amounts.
Ideas for troubleshooting?

Does your live data tab showing all data coming in regular short intervals?
when you follow instructions below, I could also login an check what the reason is:

Please send URL and password to "info(at)meteobridge.com".

Re: MB Pro not reporting rain data to Weatherunderground
Hi, thanks for the reply.
I was able to fix it. I did a complete system reset and added my station back to weatherunderground and it is now working.
It didn't seem to make sense.
Also, the system reset was a challenge to activate. I clicked the pin hole to move the highlight to the reset option and the right side status bar would fill out, but then it would just hang there. It finally worked one time after power cycling a few times.
I couldn't find any literature on how to work the reset options for the LAN, WLAN and system reset.
If you would still like to login and check it out, let me know and I will send you my info.
Data is here for now: http://www.wunderground.com/personal-we ... 35#history

Re: MB Pro not reporting rain data to Weatherunderground
Hi,
The problem is back. I isolated to to when a power cycle happens, i.e., when after initial config and move to wireless, if I unplug it and move it elsewhere, the zero rain data reporting shows up again. Even after doing a soft reboot, the zero rain data reporting happens, though the unit shows rain data and full signal.
Also, after a power cycle, there is no stored data. Looks like the log file shows an error writing to the internal database.
I will email you my login information.
Thank you

Re: MB Pro not reporting rain data to Weatherunderground
Remote analysis resulted into a hardware problem (filesystem skips to read-only again and again).
Inserting an external USB stick and telling Meteobridge PRO to use this for storing data solves the
issue, but internal USB storage has a defect. Unit is scheduled for replacement.
