Hi,
I have just set up a new shiny Meteobridge pro (red) and have come up on a small problem (bug)...
I have the following services set on the device.
1) Wu upload every 5 secs.
2) HTTP request to update live gauges on web page every 5 secs.
3) HTTP request to update SQL database on web server with a data set containing averaged data, max and mins every 5 minutes.
The problem is with the third item, if I set the time to "every 5 minutes" all is well and no data sets are missed, however if I set the time to "Every 5 full minutes" every now and then a data set is not sent to the database. ( about 10 missing per day.)
This is not a huge problem but it is nice to have the times on the database increment neatly eg.
12:45:00
12:50:01
12:55:00
13:00:00
13:05:01 etc
rather than
12:44:51
12:49:52
12:54:54
12:59:55
13:04:47
as you can see, when "every 5 minutes" is selected the timer between samples is not reset until the request is complete, therefore causing the time in the database to creep up.
Apart from this small problem, I'm loving the meteobridge pro!
Cheers
Tom
