Preserving MBP Flash - request

Over the years I've lots piles of USB sticks, flash drives, and a few dozen security cams and other IoT devices due to wearing out embedded flash media on the various devices.

My MBP is DC powered and never loses power. I'd like to change the "Save historical data:" to once per day, but hate to lose a days worth of data when I reboot to grab the latest firmware.

I'd like to request a button on the "Station" tab, "Save Historical Data Now", so I can press that button just prior to rebooting.
