export:lastexport.txt

Post by Mattk »

Is "lastexport.txt" just a reference type link (typed in as such) or should this file be selectable from the "Select file for upload" option? Or am I missing something all together?

Still working on this one. data Export all good, FTP is all good, Trigger is all good (including test) if I select a specific file but so far have not managed the following as per the pro tutorial
....The file to be used for upload is specified as "export:lastexport" which automatically addresses the last generated export file.

Well I am stumped on this one in regard how export:lastexport.txt automatically addresses the last generated export file. "lastexport.txt" is a symbolic link in the file system to the last generated export file.
Therefore, when you delete the referenced file the link will point to nowhere.

Still none the wiser in getting this one to work.

So how/when/where and why would this referenced link get deleted in preventing the FTP to upload the last export?
