Well - I guess I'm going to have to return my meteohub... I got it this weekend and installed it on Saturday! Was version 2.3 if I remember right... I upgraded to 2.6 then to 2.7. Set it up for Weatherunderground and WD Live - it connected to internet with no problems and worked like a charm expcept the WD Live data was empty although it still sent it....
I came home - went to WD Live menu and hit save again to reset the templates to see if they were not saved properly hence the empty files... Something crapped it out as is will no longer connect to the internet anymore.... I've done everything - rebooting - reloading software - going back a version then back to 2.7 - nothing - it just quit connecting to the internet through my Linksys router....it almost worked like a charm for whole 24 hours....bummed!
Can't connect to internet after a save....

Re:Can't connect to internet after a save....
Well....back up for now and this may be a bug - I have to reboot tonight to see what's going on though... I had remembered that I changed the clock setting to the weather station and that is when I lost the interenet... I changed it back and started getting connected again but lost my connection to the actual Meteohub - so I think I have to reboot to reestablish connection locally - but it's transmitting again.... I'll add more tonight...

Re:Can't connect to internet after a save....
It may be worth pointing out that over the months the number one root cause for weird problems that only seem to affect a particular user has been problematic USB sticks!
If it was a coding error others would most likely be suffering the same problems.
Might it be possible to try an alternative stick?

Thats a good suggestion.. I thought about getting a bigger one anyway.... The USB stick that came with it is this tiny little thing that I've never seen before vs the normal ones that you put in your pocket etc... Can I just us a normal USB stick like a Kensington - but reformat it to clean it off... I'll look in the directions too...
Thanks

Re:Can't connect to internet after a save....
Fixed - it turns out I was having problems connecting when I was assigned the IP ending in 106 through DHCP... I can't set or fix the IP number in my router - so I disabled DHCP in Meteohub and assigned it to 105.... Works like a charm now! But I am scared to reboot it again!

Hi
Is this re-flashed or is the firmware still Linksys?

Still a Linksys - latest firmware of 4.21.1 - January 2007....
I have one of the origina versions of this router which the last firmware for this one came out over a year ago...the newer versios of this same router has firmware updates from just a few months ago - but mine apparently is to old.... I guess that's an excuse to go out and get a new Wirless N!! :cheer:

Hi
Have you tried this web site.
http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv3/index.php
This gives you a lot more control over the router, more so than Linksys, power uotput all kinds of extras.
