MBP - Lost history data

Post by plex »

Hello

Sadly almost all history data are gone. I don't know why, but discovered today, that yearly rain on my webpage is 0.2mm :?

Can it be recovered, at is't gone for good?

At least I have history data uploaded to WU, but anyway I wan't correct rain values on my webpage.

What can I do?

Regards
Hans

When you have the total rain values for January and February, you can manually enter to rain fall entries to reflect this.

Do we know what caused the data loss? If it's a bug, or some un-caught setting navigation?

I'd like to make sure this doesn't happen to me.

It was a faulty script which is fixed in the meantime. However, please make
use of doing scheduled backups to a USB stick connected to the back (or front).

You can never be sure that nothing happens to your database.

I fixed this way, but anyway pretty scary to know this can happen.

Time to do backups :)

I've plugged in a USB on the front, and setup a script doing backups. But do I have to change "Database media" from internal to USB, to make backups to USB media?

However I still get errors - is't something to pay attention to?
