Meteobridge Pro Database

Post by SPW55 »

Hi I have been running the Meteobridge Pro for a while now and keeping up with the updates, my problem is I have set up for using a usb stick for the front of the unit and set up a predefined script for backup (script:backup.sh) to be triggered at 23.45pm, but when I go to the system settings and check the restore from Database nothing is listed as shown on your 2.8 released March 13, 2016 picture, when I do a test it says Triggered script a success so am i doing something wrong with the setup for it not to show a Database list as you have shown
Thanks

When you are using the USB stick on the front panel for being the regular data store,
where do you generate the backups to? Are you adding an additional stick to the
back panel?

To be honest we have not tested how to deal with this situation but assumed,
that the internal USB storage is used for holding the data base.

Thank you for replying
I only have the memory stick in the front panel I presumed that by ticking the box for front panel that data was stored on the front stick and not the internal, the script i am using is "script:backup.sh" is there anything else I need to add to the line for the script URl , from what you are saying or suggesting is that i need to generate where the database backs up to if so this is where I am getting lost as to where, I presumed it was backing up data to something but not sure where because the triggered script says success
Thank you

When it says success it should have worked fine. I guess the backup has been written onto the internal
USB store, but Meteobridge does not expect it being there. Before I continue guessing, can you please
give me access to your box so that I can check and change code to find backups there as well?
