Open Weather Map Site - Anyone Seeing Their Station?

Post by D2149 »

I have been discussing a problem with this site with the site manager over at Open Weather Map. Even though my MBP appears to be sending data up to our account there, the station is not showing up on their maps, and the support folks there are pointing their finger at a problem with the MBP.

Has anyone been able to get their data up to this site and actually see their station on the map? Apparently, there is no way to see your station's data unless you can find your station on the map and click on it there. That apparently opens a page that displays all the various data points.

The Open Weather Map settings in the MBP Weather Nets section does not jibe exactly with what I think the site is expecting. But oddly enough, I am getting green checks on all the fields and the data is being uploaded every 2 minutes.

I am putting the API Key code in the STATION NAME field. User Name and PW are the same as what I use to login to their site with a browser.

Since I have no logs to review, I have no idea what the MBP is sending and what the OWM server is saying when that data is received.

Would love to hear back from another MBP users who is sending their data to this site and is seeing their station on the map in the correct location.

Thanks!
