Vantage Vue not transmitting data to internet **solved**

Hello,

Six days ago, we had a power outage for a short while. Since then, our Davis Vantage Vue has not been able to transmit data online. (Before this, it had been transmitting with no problem for months.) The Vantage Vue itself is working fine, just not transmitting to internet.

I followed the instructions in the post about resetting the Vantage Vue (disconnected the TP-LINK MR3020 from console, took batteries out of console, disconnect console from power supply, waited a few minutes, reconnected TP-LINK, put batteries back in, reconnected power supply). I also use a hub in between the TP-LINK and the Vantage Vue.

I have used the magicip address and gotten the device online to manage it. When I click on "Network", I get a blank screen except for this message: "The CGI process did not produce any response." The other tabs seem to work fine.

I have pushed the reset button several times and in a variety of ways to try to get things back to default.

Any help on this would be really appreciated. I would really like to get our station back on Weather Underground.

I had the same problem, I reset the firmware to an older version (2.6) and it let me set the network page. it then updated to newest version.

I went to Firmware 2.6, rebooted and checked. It let me go to the Network page. I then went back and chose "newest" firmware and rebooted again. But after that, I was no longer able to access the "network" tab. So, I just settled on firmware 2.6 and now we are up and running.

I have stayed on 2.8 but cannot get to the Network tab. Figure I have no need and if I do I will just switch back to 2.6

That did correct the problem with the Weather Network page I have a few days ago, But the Network page does not work.

Email sent. I did update it back to 2.8 and still get the following error when I click on the Network page.
