random wind direction change on steady direction

since the 3.1 update, my meteobridge has been reporting random wind direction on steady one direction winds. Its a Davis Vantage Vue ISS. i have no console to verify if its a davis hardware issue or a problem with meteobridge. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this since it coincided with a software update. The weather vane is definitely firmly attached and set. thanks
