Hi all,
I have had a webpage on my own website fetching data from my raspi via port 5558 for several years. Recently my hosting service migrated to a new Provider and the page stopped working.
In a browser http://myip.co.uk:5558 returns data but is terminated with a connection reset.
My new hosting provider says that the responses from http://myip.co.uk:5558 site are not recognisable as a known application type - due to the lack of http headers. They require that all traffic conforms to known patterns in order to classify it and grant access into their network.
Does anyone understand this pleas - is there a way around this?
regards,
Ian

Re: Meteohub - RFC compliant HTTP stream
additionally http://myip:5558/meteograph.cgi?text=all does complete within the browser - it get closeds when the data has been retreived.
In the moments the page loads I can't see any HTML content type header .
Regards,
Ian
