Can't log in to meteobridge - had site bookmarked

Post by evie »

Here's what I get:
This site can’t be reached
192.168.2.9 took too long to respond.

If I created a user name & password for the meteobridge site, I have lost both so do I have to start all over? My station is still reporting & I am using the meteobridge wireless function.
I'm not super techie so be precise in any instructions please.
Thanks

Hi

What does this give you:

http://magicip.meteobridge.com/

You need to be on the same network as the Meteobridge when loading the site.

Or maybe you can have a look in your router, (look for DHCP Clients, or something like that) my guess is that it got a new ip.

Login into router and check for IP changes if running DHCP, check MBPro display for IP

When I run the http://magicip.meteobridge.com I get this:
This site can’t be reached

192.168.2.20 took too long to respond.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

I'm looking in my Belkin router DCHP client list & I see 3 addresses I don't recognize & the IP address I was using above isn't in the list:
192.168.2.6 localhost f8:04:2e:bc:70:34
192.168.169.4 tve7d59e6da1a6 60:6d:c7:0f:9d:13
192.168.169.6 HelluvaHoliDoc 64:a5:c3:97:a0:4d

The last one is a bit concerning! What is MBPro?

Apparently my PWS hasn't reported in 8 days. I'm going to start all over with my meteobridge set up. Any helpful hints to make the IP address stick?
