Is USB 2.0 hub necessary ? **solved**

Configuration:
D-Link Dir-505 -> USB-to-serial-adapter -> PeetBros Ultimeter 2100.

Diagnostic command:

http://192.168.0.201/cgi-bin/system.cgi?dmesg

gives

[ 20.920000] usbserial: USB Serial support registered for pl2303
[ 20.930000] pl2303 1-1:1.0: pl2303 converter detected
[ 20.940000] usb 1-1: pl2303 converter now attached to ttyUSB0

Serial connection is OK, I get live data in Meteobridge.
But in the Station panel there is a message:

Warning: This combination of hardware platform, firmware and weather station needs a USB 2.0 Hub to have the weather station connected.

Why ?
It is working !
