Rainfall Glitch

We had very heavy rainfall and I had been watch my weather data closely -- mainly via Wunderground.

We had a very brief electricity outage in the evening. My station had recorded (according to the attached page) over 6" of rain today. For some reason (probably the short power outage?), the rainfall total reset to 4.46" but the station itself only reports a max of 4.15".

How do I troubleshoot this discrepancy?

A power outage is really not a discrepancy, it's more a failure. My suggestion is to fix the failure, provide redundant power which could involve the weather station, MB and the router which are all a single point of failure without any power.
