WHat happens if I reset the NSLU2 with the button?

Will I have to install meteohub all over again, like with a new NSLU2 ready to get meteohub installed?
Is there a difference here between pressing the button for 2 seconds or for 10 seconds and do youhave to have the NSLU2 ON or OFF when you reset it?

I installed it for another router and now cannot access it at home anymore, so I want to at least get the to the NSLU2 and get its basi IPsettings.
