Post by azchrisf »

Can the Davis repeaters be used with the Meteobridge Red cap units?

Yes I have the Davis 7627 solar powered repeater connected between a Vantage Vue ISS and the Meteobridge Pro Red. (The distance between the ISS and the MBP Red is 400m) Under the "station tab" I just have the Vantage Vue ISS chosen with its ID. The MBP Red does not need a special setting for the repeater (unlike the Davis console which needs to be set to either receive direct from the ISS or the via repeater).

Im using the Internal RF receiver, and even with the repeaters setup I don't see a change in signal strength.

Do you have a Console or Envoy in the system? if so you could re-transmit from either which could increase the signal to the MBPro
