Well you are going to have to make allowances for WU as it is having a rather bad run.

The rest if it cyclic every month or so just maybe your particular setup or service provider, internet connection etc

I have no idea why your Meteobridge stalls after a month. You can schedule weekly/daily reboots to help on this.
When you have a favored SW version you can also make it stick to this, to avoid getting new versions on reboot,
which always have the chance to introduce some bugs beside the new features.

Most users are fine with the stability of the solution. Do you have "retry forever" selected on some weather network uploads?
If you give me remote access I can browse through and check if I find some settings that might be problematic.

This problem happened to my MB several times over the course of two or three years whereas I would have to “set it up from scratch” every time there was a power bump or anything that caused the MB to reboot including the sw updates. I found in MY CASE that it was because I had my SSID "hidden." I setup a "guest" wifi with the SSID broadcast and I haven’t had a problem for the past two years.
