USB stick recommendations

I seem to be plagued with an unreliable 4GB USB memory stick. It works for about a month before I get bad data records and need to reformat and start all over again!!

Any recommendations for the manufacturers of good quality USB sticks? Does anyone know a way of testing USB sticks? Searching the internet, most people seem more interested in measuring the speed of their USB memory rather than testing the actual memory itself!

Thanks for the link. I have gone ahead and ordered a Patriot Xporter 4GB USB stick. Hopefully that will make my system more reliable!
