Updates not for all Meteobridges?

Post by lrosenman »

On the release log page:

released March 2, 2019

Data21.pngallows to feed alien data (as "data21num") into Meteobridge by providing an executeable shell script as /root/datafeed that returns "data21 xxx", where xxx is an integer number which will be divided by 100 when used by Meteobridge. Example: File "/root/datafeed" is defined as follows and presents value "100.00" on the live data display for sensor "data21num":

But when I reboot my DIR-505, I get:

Platform: DIR-505 (no USB hub)
RAM: 61556 kB total, 28388 kB free (53% used)
SW Version: Meteobridge 3.9 (Feb 7 2019, build 12715), FW 1.3

Am I missing something?

Normally Boris will prefix the release to a particular unit/model and I notice this is not the case with the March 2 release but If a device can not handle a particular release then it obviously won't be installed. I am not sure if the straight MB handles this alien data or not.

Meteobridge PRO has the same issue. I have rebooted now and the last version is build 12715, 7 Feb.

MB PRO Black: I have reboot it again. Now the last version is build 12718, 13 Mar. Data21 sensor still missing in Live Data Tab. In the wiki the last version is 14 Mar, not 13 Mar. Any issues with MB PRO updates?

I would say either the update tag for the 14th hasn't been changed from the 13th or the 14th update hasn't been tagged on the server yet and may not be deemed the last update? Or it could have gone back in for a rework? Unless you have that specific problem and able to confirm it's fixed or not then I wouldn't worry about it too much for now, this happens occasionally.
