Hello everyone,
I saw today for the first time the Oregon Scientific WMRS200 and I was interested to it for its data logger capability.
Today I use 4 remote sensors THGR228 and similar with a BAR826 unit. I would like to know if I can reuse my existing sensors with WMRS200, but I didn't find anything about on official doc.
I only need to log temp and humidity of internal rooms, plus one external probe (temp & humidity), and transfer data to PC from time to time.
Another question is about data logger capability:
what is the sampling rate (i.e. how many samples/hours the instrument can log) and how long the logger can store data before you need to connect a PC to download data to avoid data losses?
Thanks to all for sharing their knowledge about this instrument with me.
WMRS200 compatibility with THGR 228 and other Oregon wireles

I believe the WMRS200 is compatible with the same range of sensors as the WMR200.alea wrote:THGR228
The THGR228 is an older "3 channel" sensor and I don't believe it would be seen by a WMRS200 - my 3 THGR228 sensors are certainly not seen by my WMR200.
If you want a system for logging from a wide range of OS sensors you might like to consider a RFXCOM (http://www.rfxcom.com) receiver, attached to Metoehub. That's what I use. The RFXCOM receiver collects signals from all my OS sensors, i.e. both the older WMR928 and 3 channel sensors and the newer WMR200 sensors.
