Can this power the PRO?

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has tried, or knows if, the Davis Heavy Duty Solar Power Kit can be used to power a MeteoBridge PRO?

Davis solar systems can put out up to 6.8 volts and Davis equipment specifically clamp their line voltage to handle this. MBPro is happy at 5 volts and if I was using such a solar system then I would probably run a 5 volt convertor which is simply the same as running from 12 volt solar systems.
