I see that Meteobridge can share a connection since version 2.5.I'm using a davis USB data logger with a VP2.
Would this work with software like VirtualVP? If so would it then be able to feed multiple weather software like weather display, cumulus etc
Thanks for the info!

Re: share a connection questions.
VirtualIP does not work with current Davis protocol versions. Meteobridge can hand-over connection to the Davis logger to one requesting PC or alike. But I do not recommend to do so. Go PC or Meteobridge, not both.
Re: share a connection questions.
Why don't you suggest doing both? It would be nice to use Meteobridge and feed cumulus with it. Best of both worlds.

Re: share a connection questions.
When doing so, Cumulus controls which data packets to request from the Davis console. This is not optimal for Meteobridge operation. But may be Cumulus requests data in a way that makes Meteobridge happy as well. You might ask other users here. I don't use Cumulus.
