unable to connect with wifi over wpa2-psk

Hello,
I have a problem with a meteobridge NANO SD
I have a plain vanilla ubiquiti access point with WPA2-PSK enabled.
I am unable to connect to that wifi ssid.
When I use an ssid without encryption on that same ubiquiti access point, the connection works.
Is that a bug?
Is there a workaround?
Anyone else has this problem?

Just a suggestion, did you read https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index. ... up_Network?

Passphrase is the password that grants access to your WLAN. Please don't use passwords with special characters, as these might not be handled correctly by the web interface.

Have you tried setting your NANO to "WPA/WPA2 mixed mode"?

Maybe you could be more specific in what you call a "plain vanilla ubiquiti access point" as that doesn't tell anybody anything.

A Nano with WPA2-PSK encryption works fine with a Ubiquiti Rocket M2 with security WPA2-AES and PSK authentication and WPA Preshared Key

I too use Unifi AC Pro and Lite WAPs and the meteobridge Nano connects just fine using WPA2-PSK. what version of firmware is on your Unifi AP?

I'm using v4.0.43.10459 USW/UAP on all my devices.

it is a Ubiquiti AP AC PRO
running firmware 4.0.42.10433
I can see the wifi alright in my nano, I can select it, however I am unable to connect to it.
In the end, as a stopgap solution, I have now created a wifi without password (open) but with mac-address filtering and that works.
However this is of course not a desired situation.
