These are the current stations supported: https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Stations

Yes you can add a PM2.5 sensor to the Meteobridge. But that would require that the console you are using supports the PM2.5.
Currently the Ambient PM2.5 and the Ecowitt PM2.5 can be added but there is only one console that I know of that supports them. That is the Ecowitt GW1000. The good news is that if you already have an Ambient station with the Osprey or the older WH24 outdoor sensor array you'll be able to use the GW1000 as a console to feed the Meteobridge. Then you can add either an Ambient PM2.5 or the Ecowitt PM2.5 sensor for the GW1000 to pick up.
If you have an Ambient console like the WS-2000 then you'd probably be better off with the Ambient PM2.5 sensor instead of the Ecowitt PM2.5 because the Ecowitt version will not be seen by the Ambient WS-2000. I currently have this setup where my GW1000 is the console for the Meteobridge and I have the Ecowitt PM2.5 and I have the WS-2000 display with the outdoor sensor array. The problem I have is that although the PM2.5 shows up for the GW1000 it does not show up for the WS-2000 because of the mismatch.
In summary:
Ecowitt console is able to pick up both Ecowitt sensors and Ambient sensors.
Ambient console is only able to pick up Ambient sensors.
Once the Meteobridge has the PM2.5 here is what I see that can be done with this data:
- See the PM2.5 Live data on the Meteobridge Live tab, also show up in the Historical data section.
- Create Meteobridge alarms for and triggers for PM2.5 like you would with any other data.
- Send PM2.5 to Ambientweather.net if the Meteobridge is licensed for this service (like an Ambient WeatherBridge).
- Send PM2.5 to your SQL database
- Send PM2.5 to your website if the template supports it (I'm not dong this yet, but I don't see why it shouldn't work).
- Send PM2.5 to Weather Underground. This is done automatically but currently WU is ignoring this and maybe it will show up in the future...but it is using the WU protocol to send PM2.5 data.
