2 x NANO SD: No WAN IP after WLAN interruption

Post by tofe »

Good evening

After a brief WLAN break, two meteobridge NANO SDs (1x black cable, 1x red cable) are no longer able to obtain and register the WAN IP.

There was no configuration change, only a short Wi-Fi interruption (no update). The meteo NANO without SD, as well as all the smartphone and the laptop could automatically reconnect to the WLAN, only the NANO SD can not do it.

I have tried synonymous with the assigning of other IPs and numerous reboot. It is always the meteobridge own WLAN available.

I'm slowly at the end of my Latin and do not remember how I brought these two meteobridges NANO SD online again.

Looking for help Greetings
Tobias

Good evening again

A flash of thought and I have found the solution! It is due to the setting "Hidden SSID". This option is activated throughout the network and works on all wireless devices without any problems, incl. NANO (without SD). Only the two NANO SD have problems with this option and do not always work.

For me it is not an option to disable the "Hidden SSID" setting (except for updating the NANO SD). It would be cool if Boris could fix the problem with hidden SSID. As mentioned, with the NANO without SD it works without problems.

greetings from Switzerland
