UMTS and Meteohub ? *Solved*

Hi from Verona, Italy!:cheer:

I've a remote nexus-tfa station that i would to use with Meteohub...but there is no dsl or telephone connection at the station location...only umts is available...
it is possible to use a umts-phone connected by USB on meteohub-hardware to upload data on the internet ? I have to buy a umts-router to do this kind of connection with NSLU2? (because not enough usb port?) and with other hardware (ebox - minipc etcc...) may i use this simply method against the expensive umts-router solution? :unsure:

Forse e' meglio che provi con un router gprs che con un telefono usb umts.

I have resolv the question buying a umts-router ...the things are working very well!!!!:laugh:

Great to hear that it works. Direct UMTS support by means of USB Huawei modems is still in the works. I have an experimental version included into 3.3 but this doesn't really do the trick. I hope I can improve on this during the next updates. Having an UMTS router will be the better solution, anyway.

Yes, the router is working very well and with a volume based rate I don't spend too much (just 9 euro at month) I'm very happy with this solution! :)
Now I have again the problem of loosing communication from the temp/hum sensor...but I'll update another thread!

Update: I found that an Web'n'walk box III based of the globesurfer II from Option is a great solution!!
