Meteobridge Nano reboot failed

Post by Lespius »

Hello

Having noticed that my Nano was still with version 3.7 I decided to do a reboot.
But each time it reboots the nano switches off and refuses to start again.

In details, when I do the Initial Setup process: remove power, remove nano, plug nano, switch on power, connect with my browser, test the wifi parameters successfully. At this stage the red led is on and steady. Then I click on Save and Reboot, the led switches off and... that's all.

I have tried several times, I have also tried to reboot by pressing the blue button on the nano, but the sole result is to switch off the nano.

Any idea ????
Thanks

backup your db and config first of all.

No change.
The thing is that it doesn't restart when it reboots. Hardware issue ??

Does it startup fine when you power cycle the console it is attached to?

Not really. I must generally take out the Nano from the console and plug it again before powering the console.

4.x versions should reboot fine. It is a NANO with a white of with a red or black pull-out strap?

I wonder if during the firmware upgrade from v3.7 there was some type of internet problem that caused the upgrade to get corrupted ?. Would this cause the problems the OP is having ?.

Might be. Downloads are not checked for validity before being installed on the target system. But as said, all is fixed with next fresh reboot/install.

Nano with a black strap, 2 years old I think.
In between I have purchased a new one - :? . Works fine.

License: I had a license through meteotemplate. Can I have it back ?

I have nothing to do with meteotemplate licenses, not even aware that there are some. Not sure what you mean.
