Hi
After having a weather station for the last 3 years (WMR 928)I decided to try and link it to my PC using A NSLU2 and Meteohub software.
I have reached the stage where I can see all the information ( system info ,sensor details etc) by typing in the IP address into my web browser.
How do I access the data that is been stored on the memory stick in the NSLU2, do I need any other software to create a diplay.Maybe I am just missing the obvious but if anyone can help I would be very greatful.

As far as I know there is not an explicit feature in meteohub for accessing data, but you can still access data by your own.
You should point /public folder at your IP address and mapping if you like it.
In this folder there are files containing data. You can access to these data files via editor, Excel, etc...
You will see it's structured by different range times for each sensor.
Also there is another important file all-sensors.xml in folder /public/myweb/uploads
You can find more infornation by accessing these folders... It's not that hard!

Re:Looking at weather data
Think I am begining to understand.
If I downloaded weather display software can I get it to read the data from meteohub ? by getting weather display to look for stored data ?
Sorry for not being very clear but what I would like to achive at the moment is to be able to see the current and past weather on my PC.

Re:Looking at weather data
Well, it's easier than see future weather :cheer:to be able to see the current and past weather on my PC.
Suposing that I want to see rain data for this year I can access (in Weather folder) file rain0-day1, for instance from Excel, and do any calculations I'd like. If I'm interested in rain every half an hour then I'd access file rain0-min30. And so on for any sensor I'd check.
If you want already calculated Max/min values for a time period you may analize all-sensors.xml ...
I think it's what you look for... Or at least a possible way to do it.

And another way would be to use the graphs that Meteohub can produce - see the 'Manage Graphs' and 'Define Graphs' sections of the Meteohub web interface.Chill wrote:Or at least a possible way to do it.
If you want to take the route of using the software called 'Weather Display', there are notes on using that here. That uses the 'logging protocol.
Another possibility is to use the software called WSWIN. You can set up to feed that from Meteohub via the 'WSWIN Data Export' section of the Meteohub web interface.

Re:Looking at weather data
Hi Thanks for the help
I have installed 'Weather dislay' software and have managed to set it up to display what I want to see.
Only trial version so I may try the other suggestions that have been posted later.
Think I will let the setup run for a day or two to see what happens.
Thanks again
