A Good New Year to all Meteohub user!
A week ago I have migrated to x86 (fit-PC slim). I wanted to have a more stable environment.
Unfortunately in the last 5 days I had the third totally interruption of the data recording:(
The message was: error connect socket 127.0.0.1:5555 :Connection refused
I´m happy that meteohub is notify me by mail to prevent a larger failure!
I´m using a Vantage Pro 2 with RS232/USB converter. After reconnection of the USB plug the system is running again.
Any idea?
Regards
Jürgen

Re:Problems with new fit-PC
Hallo',
if you read: "error connect socket 127.0.0.1:5555 :Connection refused" the problem it is always becouse your system does not retrive the data from vp2 conselle.
I think your problem it is the USB converter.
Be shure your converter it is supported from meteohub software.

Re:Problems with new fit-PC
Hi Alberto,
thank´s for your answer.
I know that some USB converter are not suitable. But my model has a FTDI chipset.
Now I´m thinking about switching to the Vantage USB version, which can connect directly without RS232 converter.
If I only knew that this helps???

Hallo',
If you change from rs232 to direct usb (6510USB) shure you have less one problem, but may be this is not all.
I have not expirience with x86.
I'm using the direct usb datalogger with my nslu2 without anyone problem.
Alberto.
