Steve,
The issues with Open WRT and your router using 192.168.1.1 are only encountered if you have flashed the router with the recovery.bin file and are trying to access the router to flash it with the Meteobridge firmware using the recovery browser. Since you successfully flashed the router using the tftp method that is not the reason you can’t access your newly flashed Meteobridge via Wi-Fi.
After flashing the Meteobridge firmware, your newly flashed Meteobridge ( TL-WR902AC ) defaults to a LAN connection not Wi-Fi .You need to follow the instructions on the WiKi page to switch from LAN to Wi-Fi ( https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index. ... ng_Started ). Then you will be able to connect via Wi-Fi. Keep on plugging, you’re almost there.

PS,
To access your new Meteobridge via LAN you need to plug your TP-WR902AC directly into your router with an Ethernet cable. Then bring up a browser window and enter this address http://magicip.meteobridge.com/ it should show the IP address of your Meteobridge. If it doesn’t, reboot the meteobridge by disconnecting and reconnecting the power to it so it will get a new DHCP address from your router. Then try the magicip.meteobridge.com address in your browser again. If Magicip doesn’t work, download angry ip scanner for Mac from angryip.org and make sure you have Java version 8 or later installed. Run angry ip and do a scan. It will show the ip addresses of all devices on your network. Enter the provided address of your meteobridge into a browser address window and that should bring up the Meteobridge. Login using the default id & password and do the configuration of the Meteobridge.
After your configuration You can then use the magic WiFi browser address to find out what DHCP Wi-Fi address your router has assigned to the meteobridge to access it via a browser window.
