Livedataxml.cgi over Wifi

Post by WeVosiKa »

Hello

I work with the call
http://ip-of-meteobridge/cgi-bin/livedataxml.cgi

My device is a TL-MR3020 V 3.2 WeatherBoxx easy.

If I make the call via Wifi, only one of four attempts will work. If it works, the data will be displayed correctly as XML - File, as shown in the wiki. But it takes very long until this display appears on the browser. The other three times, the call runs into a timeouts and aborts.

What can be the reason for this? I am working with this call internally in the network, i.e. in house, and not from outside.

I want to store the information from the XML file in HomeMatic in system variables to use them for different calculations

I‘m working with a FritzBox.

Thank you very much for your help.

I am aware that my question is not easy to answer. But how could I proceed to trace the cause. The data transfer to Wunderground or meteomap.cloud works best over Wifi. But this retrieval of the XML file does not work properly.
