Does NanoSD Work with Old Davis Vantage Pro?

Post by Grumpy Patzer »

Good morning / Guten Morgen

My new Davis VP2 and NanoSD are now working very nicely, feeding the standalone version of the Weather34 template. (It did stop sending updates for no apparent reason a couple of times, but rebooting the Nano solved that.) I am really pleased with the combination.

I now have a question concerning old Davis Vantage Pro (not 2) units: would the NanoSD work with one of these?

If it would, I will be quite tempted to move the NanoSD to an old Vantage Pro that I have at a different location and purchase a Meteobridge Pro to use with the new VP2 (which is in the Scottish Highlands).

Thanks ....
Andrew

According to the Literature and the Station Tab on my Nano SD Web Browser Page, the Nano and Nano SD only supports the Vantage Pro 2, The Vantage Vue and the Envoy.
Looks like your out of luck in using your original Vantage Pro.

Thanks. That confirms what I feared was the case.
