WL Cloud not in weather net list **solved**
WL Cloud option does not show up in drop down list of add more weather networks in my MB Pro. I have version 4.4 software loaded (July 25 2020). Do I need to have my Davis USB data logger physically connected to the MB Pro and if so are there any settings to make?
Re: WL Cloud not in weather net list
It should be at the bottom, at least it is with version 4.3, it is called WL CloudYorkshireHam wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 2:01 pm WL Cloud option does not show up in drop down list of add more weather networks in my MB Pro. Re: WL Cloud not in weather net list
WL Cloud not definitely not there on my MB Pro at v4.4 so rebooted to v4.3 and still not there. Are there any extra files I have to load or enable to get WL Cloud to show?
Re: WL Cloud not in weather net list
It is not showing up on my MB either. I do remember seeing it. Perhaps something changed and now it doesn't show up unless you have a compatible Davis logger connected....which I don't have. What I'm saying is that before even without a Davis logger the option was available....although it was impossible to make it work without the Davis logger.

Re: WL Cloud not in weather net list
I believe they do have something saying a Davis logger is required.
From release notes:
released October 6, 2019
adds support for a new personal weather data upload service named "WL Cloud". This feature is only available for Meteobridges connected to a Davis data logger (Console or Envoy, not Envoy8x). It directly uploads data from the logger (not data from the Meteobridge) to an URL of your liking. Data consists of LOOP, HILOWS and DMPAFT data sets as provided from the Davis logger. Upload format is similar (and might be compatible) to what Davis uses to feed their weatherlink network. To have your web server ready for receiving the data, please use this perl code, which stores uploaded packet content on your server in separate files for further processing. Code is very simple and provides some comments to understand what kind of data is stored in the files. Feel free to use this code and change/distribute as you like.

Re: WL Cloud not in weather net list
WL Cloud still shows in NanoSD and is called Weatherlink Cloud in the latest version release. Not showing in MBPro 4.3 or 4.4 but unsure if this is related to my hardware config or not?

Re: WL Cloud not in weather net list
I should have stated that I am using the MB Pro Red with built in RF receiver. Do I need to deselect 'Use internal RF receiver' and enable 'USB' for my Davis Vue in the station setup tab of MB. Would that then require me to plug my USB data logger into the MB before the WL Cloud option will be visible?YorkshireHam wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 2:01 pm WL Cloud option does not show up in drop down list of add more weather networks in my MB Pro. Re: WL Cloud not in weather net list
Upload to WL Cloud does need a cable connection with the Davis Console as this upload service from Davis depends on a special data packet format only a Davis console provides. Therefore, MB PRO reading data via RF directly from the sensors cannot provide this.
