Problems with connection!! Help
Good evening to everybody and I am sorry for my English. I am an Italian guy who just bought MeteoHub in an Italian shop.
I can't connect MH to its ip page. If I write the Ip 192.168.1.77 in the browser (I got it from the seller) I don't see anything. You only see the page error. My pc is at the first floor and it's connected to web with a router that owns my brother in the second floor. I tried to do the ip pinging from both the computers. From this one which is connected with Davis station pinging didn't work. From the other pc pinging is ok. The system identifies the ip but if you try to open the ip page you see the same error I see here.
We tried also by disabling Kaspersky firewall but it was unsuccessfull.
What the hell can be the problem?
Thanks in advance guys

Re:Problems with connection!! Help
Hello everybody
After a lot of attempts I did it! In this moment I am on the MeteoHub page with 192.168.1.100 address.
Of course I am not out from troubles yet, because in the "System information" page it's written this:
RETE -
Hostname: meteohub
Gruppo di lavoro: Workgroup
MAC: 00:1A:70:99:5A:C1
IP: 192.168.1.100
Gateway: 0.0.0.0
DNS:
WAN IP: nessun accesso a internet (can't connect to internet)
Does anybody know what I have to set?
Thanks a lot
Alberto

Have you tried the approach mentioned here?trentinodoc wrote:Does anybody know what I have to set?
The value for gateway will depend on your router's settings.

Re:Problems with connection!! Help
I am afraid to do some mistake. Yesterday I took MH to a friend of mine. He could see MH but once we changed the ip settings and saved we coulnd't access to meteohub anymore. System didn't find the Meteohub anymore by checking ip peripherals.

Re:Problems with connection!! Help
Your local network is probably on a different subnet than whatever you changed the Meteohub settings to.
You should always be able to reach Meteohub at 192.168.1.77 (the emergency fall-back address), although that won't broadcast itself and you won't see it among connected devices on your router's list.
Also, I'm not sure what you were trying to post with the image above, but it did not display properly.

Re:Problems with connection!! Help
That's me again! What an incredible thing! The day I should install my new Davis ISS the MH stopped working again after 1 year!
Yesterday evening from 10.40 pm my website hasn't updated by meteohub anymore and I only thought it was blocked (sometimes has happened in the past)but couldn't check out because I live on my own and station is on my parents'home. Today I tried a lot of times but Meteohub ip has disappeared from system. The ip 192.168.1.100 where my MH worked, isn't recognized anymore. The meteohub is connected to internet through an access point and a router which is located on the second floor of my home. The only ip which are found from LAN scanner are: 192.168.1.1 (my father's router ip), 192.168.1.34 (the computer which I used for meteohub) and 192.168.1.35. The emergency ip 192.168.1.77 is found but it's said to be logged out.
It is supposed to be a problem due to the USB key software which could have been damaged ... does somebody know what kind of test could I do in order to understand the problem, before to contact my supplier?
thanks a lot
Alberto
