Raspberry pi data upload. **solved**

Post by hymrog »

Hi -

In the process of uploading about 6 years of Meteoplug data. After noticing that I could utilize the drop down from within the pi to upload a file, I took a look at the wiki I browsed to the ip-of-my-meteobridge/upload.html and attempted to upload the file that way (meteoplug data). It looks like the file uploaded but the data was not available on the pi no asterisk for the date of data uploaded.

I then went back to the pi interface and the file I attempted to upload was listed in the drop down of the import/export tab. So I tried to upload the file from there and the upload was successful but I am fairly certain that you should not need to upload the file twice, once from the upload.html and again from within the pi.

Also, when I uploaded from the ip-of-my-meteobridge/upload.html there was no activity of the upload being logged on system the tab however selecting the file again within meteobridge you do see the upload activity in the system log.

I am thinking this might be a bug?

First you copy the meteoplug format file onto the SD card. Next is to import it into the Meteobridge database. It is 2 steps.
