MB Red Pro rain totals. **solved**

Re: MB Red Pro rain totals. **solved**
or you pick up some low signal packets from an alien station which makes your raintotals go wild. Do other sensors also provide spikes?
Re: MB Red Pro rain totals. **solved**
NO the rain is the only one that shows the strange spikes. The rain0total increments and the rain0rate still shows zero.
I have a Davis station also receiving from the same ISS located across the house but it doesn't get the strange increments.
Thank You
John

I was able to check out the installation of the antenna but found nothing that could cause any concern. I will continue to monitor and see if it returns but so far I have not seen the increment in the last several days.

admin,
I have been holding off on stating what I think resolved the issue but after a couple of weeks I wanted to reply.
I changed the value of the station sensitivity from 80 to 75 and it seemed to have eliminated the problem with the erratic rain values apparently the errors were caused form to much signal. I have also noticed that the raw sensor data still stays between 90% and 100%.
Strange but to much of a good thing is just as bad as not enough signal.
Thank You
