V5.0 Build 14175 VP UV and Solar sensors. **solved**

Post by stevem »

Hi, yesterday I rebooted my meteobridge. Now the solar and uv sensors are stuck and report the same value at all times of the day. It is possible they have failed but BOTH at exactly the same time seems very unlikely. And the issue is coincident with the reboot. The other sensors are reporting correctly.

Is there any chance there is an issue with the dec 19 release? Or that the dec 1/2/3 release that fixed VP additional temp sensors issues has caused issues with UV & Solar sensors???

I'm showing build 14175. The configuration is a VP2, console with usb logger, into an MR3020. It's all been running fine for years. The live data page in the meteobridge shows the incorrect data. Unfortunately the station is 150km away and I can't actually see the console so I don't know if it is reading correctly or not.

See attached screen captures.

Regards
Steve

When you have remote access and like to share with me, I can have a look at the raw data coming from the Vantage. This helps to unserstand if it is a meteobridge or a station HW problem.

Many thanks.

I have just driven the 150km to have a look. The console display was showing those same incorrect values so it must be an issue with the console.

I pulled the power and the batteries and let it reset.

Now, its all working again. That said, there's a problem there somewhere. The console was manufactured in 2007 so it has done very well. I'll just have to watch it carefully from now on.

Thanks again for offer of help.
